I saw these two plants near my house and I am thinking about planting them in my garden.

Ive provided a close up of the leaves on the first plant if that helps.

I remember my father grew a couple of these and i think he called them a golden privet

They are two different plants people. Specify which one you are referring to please.

Well, you have only given us one close up to identify. you would be lucky to identify them from the other shots as you really need to look at foilage or flowers, not just the shape of the plants
