Hi,

I have spotted this very pretty red flower a number of times since we started having warmer weather. It's growing in my lawn (grass, really!) and a suspect it's a weed. Any ideas on what it is? (I'm on Northern Yorke peninsula in SA, if that helps in identifying the plant.)

looks too pretty to be a weed, remember a weed is only an unwanted plant. it looks like a poppy?

Its looks very similar to a poppy, maybe something like papaver rhoeas or something similar!
