Lilly Pillies....

Postby freyja_28 on December 20th, 2009, 5:29 am

Hi I had a question about lilly pillies, I have 9 of them at the rental property I'm in. They have all almost died but I've brought them back to life.
I've noticed over the last few weeks they have all started to get a large amount of psyllids ( did I spell it right?) I know its said that its more of a cosmetic problem. What I'm worry about is that some of the leaves are curling up and the leaves are going a pinky colour.
I have a vague memory of being in my grandmothers garden when I was young and remembering a fruit tree that had leaves that were curled up and had turned a pinky colour. These leaves had to be pulled off the tree.
This reminds me a little of whats happening to the lilly pillys leaves.

Is it normal for a tree with psyllids to have its leaves curl up and change colour :?:

Thanks in advance :)
