dogs and dynamic lifter

Hi, I'm new to gardening and yesterday was my first time using dynamic lifter and have discovered my dog loves to eat it. I had heard this could happen and have been keeping her locked up on the deck. Wondering how long untill it "dissolves" into the ground and she is no longer attracted to the smell? I have watered it in well...

Hi
I have a dog and I use Dynamic Lifter all the time. I store the fertiliser in a garbage bin out the front so that he can't get to it.
When using it in the garden, I pull back the top layer of mulch to expose the soil, sprinkle a handful around the plant taking care not to put it too close to the stem or trunk. I gently dig the DL taking care not to disturb top layer root systems. <If you have citrus this is especially true>. Next I water in the DL and replace the mulch on top and follow up with a bit more water. The trick is to cover up with mulch.
